The "Stop" Service Station

The dilapidated "Stop Service Station" was sold at an absolute auction yesterday.  Price was $310,900.  We do not yet know who purchased it, but we are hoping a respectable, neat, clean, and orderly business may be the result.  Something with a good hamburger would be nice.

In any event, the new owner is still under mandate from Putnam County to clean up the place within a "reasonable" time.  We'll hope the reasonable definition meets our community's expectations.
