Elmore-Richardson Cemetery Candlelight Service

On the evening of 30 September 2023, Tammy (Cronk) King hosted the annual Elmore-Richardson Cemetery Candlelight Service.  Tammy has maintained this cemetery for many years and this event is a special one as friends and family gather to remember those buried in this cemetery.  About twenty people gathered to pray, enjoy gospel music, light candles and fellowship.  

You may wonder how we are related to the people buried in this cemetery...Tammy is the 4x great granddaughter of Joseph Roberts through the Francis Marion Roberts line.  Francis Marion Roberts married Sarah Richardson.  The Richardsons lived up the creek from Joseph Roberts' home and the Elmores lived up the creek from the Richardsons.  The Richardsons not only married into the Roberts but also married into the Elmores.  This means that we are cousins with most everyone buried in the Elmore-Richardson Cemetery.
