Getting Ready for 2023 Reunion

With Roberts Reunion 2022 in the books, it is time to refocus on the next reunion on 2-3 June 2023! Please mark your calendars and join in on the fun. The Cornhole Tournament has become a popular event at the reunion. It has grown enough that we have built two new sets. Here are my brother and I painting a Tennessee flag theme onto the boards.

The 2022 champions are Craig Herron and Jay Harry…who will win in 2023???

Progress in being made on the Heritage Quilt and we hope to complete it soon.

Our Roberts Reunion Heritage Series will continue to focus on one of Joseph Roberts’ children each reunion. 2023 will explore Joseph’s youngest daughter, Violet Roberts (1833-1923). Violet lived her entire life in Tennessee and married John Wesley Lee on 1 September 1853. If you have any stories/information on Violet, please send them to me. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we could discover a picture of her?

We are exploring other ideas to add to our reunion agenda. Hopefully, these activities are not only adding fun to the reunion but also increasing our knowledge of our rich and full heritage!
