COVID-19 Impacts Roberts SwitchBy Tommy Roberts - 17 March 2020 I am sure all of you have heard our government's efforts to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 Virus on our nation. I hope everyone will get behind this effort much like our nation supported the war effort during WW II. If we work together, we can whip this thing much quicker. Based on these current guidelines, we do not plan on any events to be held at the Roberts Switch Activity Center (RSAC) until further notice. We are hopeful that within a short time these restrictions can be relaxed and we can press on with our spring Strawberry Festival. We also have high hopes that our Roberts Reunion in early June will go as planned. We will keep you posted on any changes. FINAL DECISION ON THE REUNION WILL BE TAKEN BY 1 MAY. Guidelines Stay home if at all possible Avoid social gatherings in groups of more than 10 people Avoid eating/drinking in restaurants, bars, and food courts. Use take-out or delivery. Avoid discretionary travel: shopping trips and social gatherings Do not visit nursing homes, retirement or long-term care facilities Practice good hygiene (Waived for Roberts Switch) :o) Just kidding. |
